\r\nEstibaliz Aranburu, a corporate partner with a long career in the Firm, replaces Enrique Lucas as head of the Bilbao office after his retirement in December 2023. This appointment, as well as the recent incorporation of Aitor Soloeta, are signs of the Firm’s commitment to the Bilbao project, which will undoubtedly contribute to boosting it and strengthening its position in the Basque Country.

\r\nEstibaliz has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate law and corporate governance, commercial contracts, corporate disputes and restructuring. She holds a degree in Law from the University of Deusto and obtained the Diploma of Professional Aptitude as a Lawyer issued by the School of Legal Practice of the Bar Association of the Se\u00f1or\u00edo de Vizcaya and the Diploma of Advanced Studies from the University of the Basque Country, after passing the doctorate courses in Constitutional and European Community Law at the same university.
\r\n
\r\nThe Bilbao office of G\u00f3mez-Acebo & Pombo, which has been in operation since 1983, currently comprises three partners and a team of more than 20 professionals. This appointment will continue to strengthen the office as a key element to boost its development in this important market.
