\n\nAccording to the managing partners of Spain’s leading law firms, inflation, rising interest rates and the geopolitical crisis are the three vectors that will shape the Spanish economy in 2023. In a complicated context, full of legislative reforms, the sector will have to adapt to the new demands of the economy and clients, while at the same time facing its two permanent challenges: digitalisation and talent management.

\r\nI\u00f1igo \u00c9rlaiz, Managing Partner of G\u00f3mez-Acebo & Pombo, offers his opinion on how 2023 is shaping up in this article in CincoD\u00edas. “2023 looks set to be a complex year; the challenge will be to maintain turnover and to ensure that profitability does not suffer. There may be fewer operations, greater price pressure and an increase in costs. In this context we can also expect an increase in litigation. Inflation affects our clients, particularly in some sectors, which may affect the type of work they demand from us<\/em>“.57
