\r\nSantiago Garrido de las Heras, to date partner in charge of the Regulatory and Environmental area at Hogan Lovells, is one of the most prestigious and recognised lawyers in Public Law. He specialises in environmental, energy and other regulated sectors (climate change, sustainable development, health and pharmaceutical law, consumer and public procurement). Throughout his long career, Santiago has advised both national and foreign companies and business groups and associations in transactional operations and administrative and judicial instances, mainly in matters related to the environment, energy and natural resources. He has also collaborated in the drafting of laws and regulations for the regional and local administration.
\r\n
\r\nBorja Carvajal, head of KPMG’s Regulatory, Administrative and Competition practice in Madrid, specialises in advising public and private entities mainly on infrastructure and energy matters, both in Spain and abroad. He has extensive experience in bidding, design, financing, construction and operation of energy and infrastructure assets, and in general in regulatory advice on complex transactions related to regulated sectors. He is joined by Pedro Soto, director of the same area, who also specialises in advising on public law and regulated sectors, having participated in numerous transactions in the fields of energy and infrastructure, both public and private. Both also have extensive experience in other regulated sectors such as transport or audiovisual communication, having participated in numerous administrative and contentious-administrative proceedings at all levels related to the aforementioned matters.

\r\nSantiago, Borja and Pedro are considered leaders in the areas of environmental, energy and public law in Spain by prestigious legal directories such as Chambers & Partners.
