\n\nG\u00f3mez-Acebo & Pombo has advised Corporaci\u00f3n Financiera Alba, a company listed on the Continuous Market since 1986 and majority owned by the March Group, on the investment of 100 million euros in Profand Fishing Holding. Alba’s stake in the company will be approximately 23.71% of its share capital, acquired through the purchase and sale of shares and the simultaneous subscription of a capital increase.

\r\nProfand is one of the leading companies in the fishing sector in Spain and a world leader in the fishing and marketing of cephalopods, as well as in the sale of fish in protective atmosphere trays. This investment is part of Alba’s strategy of becoming a leading minority shareholder in Spanish and European family-owned companies, listed and unlisted, leaders in their sectors of activity, with the aim of contributing to their long-term development.
