\r\nG\u00f3mez-Acebo & Pombo has welcomed the Minister of the Interior, Fernando Grande-Marlaska, to highlight the LGBTQ+ Pride week and in the year in which the firm celebrates its fiftieth anniversary. The presence of the minister today inaugurated a new initiative promoted by the G\u00f3mez-Acebo & Pombo Diversity and Inclusion Committee, a forum in which personalities from different fields such as economics or politics share their experience and vision on diversity and inclusion as members of the LGBTQ+ collective.
\r\n
\r\nThe minister, known as one of the most influential people of the LGBTQ+I collective in Spain, has left some key ideas about the need for education in tolerance and the importance of promoting values that build a society with less prejudice.
\r\nIn the words of Carlos Rueda, managing partner of the Firm \u201cMaking these issues visible is essential for promoting tolerance and respect in our companies and in society. G\u00f3mez-Acebo & Pombo wants and has the responsibility to contribute to our society moving in that direction. \u201cAdditionally, Ferran Foix, partner of the London office and member of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee, highlights \u201cAt GA_P we have been working for a long time on an internal culture that fosters values such as equality, diversity and inclusion. We must continue to advance in true respect, acceptance and normalization of the LGBTQ+ community and we hope that a forum like #GA_Pproud helps make these issues visible\u201d.

\r\nThe session took place first thing in the morning at the G\u00f3mez-Acebo & Pombo headquarters in Madrid located in Plaza Castilla and was exclusively internal.
