\r\n“The firms ranking by amount of transactions is headed by G\u00f3mez-Acebo & Pombo, with seven transactions, three of them acquisitions, valued together at 334 million euros. Among them, the advice to WiZink in the purchase of the digital platform Lendrock, specialised in the financing of second-hand vehicles, stands out.

\r\n\u00c1lvaro Mateo, partner of the corporate area and coordinator of venture capital at the firm, confirms that the substantial increase in the number of transactions and their size is a sustained trend, favored by the high liquidity of the market. “Tech M&A has grown exponentially in recent years, occupying an increasingly important place within M&A activity. The pandemic has given the definitive backing to the process of digital transformation of society and even the most traditional and less innovation-prone sectors have found it necessary to incorporate technological elements and processes to adapt to the new reality” he points out.”
