The Restructuring and Special Situations team was interviewed by Capital & Corporate.

Two years after the approval of the reform of the Insolvency Law, the new legal framework is positioning Spain as an international benchmark in the restructuring market. The new regulations are transforming the way companies, investors and creditors approach these operations, encouraging anticipation and opening up opportunities for innovative domestic and international processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The team was present in most of the recent large transactions, such as CELSA GROUP or Telepizza, and foresees an increase in mid-market transactions and more M&A activity linked to these situations: \u2018Under the new rule, the viability of the company is what is relevant and not the capital or the particular interests of the partners\u2019.
