G\u00f3mez-Acebo & Pombo has appointed Madalena Caldeira, head of Employment at the Lisbon office, as a new partner.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

According to Mafalda Barreto<\/strong>, Managing Partner of GA_P’s Lisbon office: \u2018This appointment is fair recognition of the unrivalled work carried out by Madalena, enshrining the decisive role she has played in the development and consolidation of an area of practice that is absolutely crucial to our business fabric and which has taken on an increasingly prominent role within our practice\u2019. Madalena Caldeira supervises and coordinates the provision of labour law advice to national and international companies, assisting in particular in the management of negotiations and termination of employment agreements, in collective dismissal and termination processes, in accompanying and representing clients in the review and negotiation of collective regulation instruments, and in drafting opinions and memoranda. She is recognised in Portugal by several prestigious legal directories such as Legal500, Best Lawyers, Leaders League and Iberian Lawyer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
