The General Meeting of Partners of G\u00f3mez-Acebo & Pombo has approved the re-election of \u00cd\u00f1igo Erl\u00e1iz as Managing Partner for the period 2025-2027.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The General Meeting of Shareholders has also agreed on the composition of the Board of Directors for the same period. In addition to \u00cd\u00f1igo Erl\u00e1iz, the following partners will form part of the Board: Ver\u00f3nica Roman\u00ed, Miguel Lamo de Espinosa, \u00c1lvaro Mateo, Mafalda Barreto, Francisco Fita, Ignacio del Fraile and Sofia Mart\u00ednez-Almeida. Carlos Rueda will continue as Senior Partner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00cd\u00f1igo Erl\u00e1iz thanks the Firm’s partners for their support and trust and mentions his \u2018enthusiasm to lead this project for the next three years and to contribute, with everyone’s support, to continue promoting the Firm as a leading Iberian firm and to continue the upward trend of recent years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the backbone of the new mandate, he highlights positioning, productivity, profitability and efficiency. Regarding the first, he focuses not only on Spain and states \u201cWe want to be a relevant operator in the international legal market and for this we are going to continue, boosting our presence in Portugal and our Iberian identity. We also want to increase our business in LatAm by expanding our presence in strategic matters linked to the region and strengthen our position among the leading European firms. All of this while remaining G\u00f3mez-Acebo y Pombo, staying true to our culture and values based on excellence and proximity, with a cohesive partnership and putting people at the centre\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
