Thanks to the Green Pact presented by the European Commission and the investment in defence, Public Law activity is set to soar in 2025 in the areas of Urban Planning, Real Estate and Energy.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Law firms are confident that this year will bring a rebound in their activity: 78% expect further growth and another 11% expect a significant increase compared to 2024. In total, 89% of the firms expect to increase their activity in this area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Carlos V\u00e1zquez, head of Public and Regulated Sectors at G\u00f3mez-Acebo & Pombo, also points in this direction: \u2018We do not believe that there will be any significant changes in the trends of recent years. It is possible that there will be more activity in the construction sector, even in public works, which could generate more litigation in public procurement. But energy and the environment will continue to be the main drivers in the area\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
