Last week, our Tax Partner, Enrique Ortega, took part in Expansi\u00f3n\u2019s Tax Governance Observatory alongside Rub\u00e9n Gimeno, Technical Secretary of the REAF at the General Council of Economists, and Jes\u00fas Gonz\u00e1lez Ruiz-Jarabo, Partner at PKF Attest. Together, they discussed the transformation of the tax function in recent years and how risk prevention, regulatory compliance, and reputational defense have become central pillars of corporate strategy\u2014and therefore of board-level oversight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe modern tax function must cover the entire lifecycle of an operation, from its conception to its defense.\u201d <\/em>Ortega emphasized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
