G\u00f3mez-Acebo & Pombo has advised MARI, the new international events and experiences company, with Ariel Emanuel as lead investor, on the acquisition of the Mutua Madrid Open from International Management Group (IMG).<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The acquisition forms part of a multijurisdictional transaction that also involved the transfer of the ATP Masters 1000 Miami Open, two WTA 1000 tournaments and other flagship WTA events. Through this deal, MARI reflects its long-term vision of building a global and dynamic portfolio of events, focused on sports, with the Mutua Madrid Open as one of its flagship assets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
