G\u00f3mez-Acebo & Pombo has advised Edificio Rostower (the Socimi owned by Argentine football player Lionel Messi) on the signing of its agreement with Meli\u00e1 Hotels International for the management of the six hotels operating under the MiM brand.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The agreement, which came into effect on 1 November, includes the incorporation of the properties located in Andorra, Baqueira, Ibiza, Mallorca, Sitges and Sotogrande \u2014 comprising around 500 rooms \u2014 into The Meli\u00e1 Collection, Meli\u00e1\u2019s luxury brand. Until now, these hotels had been managed by Majestic Hotel Group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through this transaction, Edificio Rostower secures the management of its hotels by a first-class operator with extensive experience in the luxury segment and a strong international platform, ensuring high quality standards, a distinctive value proposition for its guests, and an additional boost to the global marketing and distribution of the MiM brand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For its part, Meli\u00e1 strengthens its position in the premium segment and expands its collaboration with elite sports figures. The alliance with Messi\u2019s Socimi adds to the Zel Hotels project, developed jointly with Rafael Nadal, and further consolidates the company\u2019s international presence in tourism and sport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The G\u00f3mez-Acebo & Pombo team involved in the transaction included Augusto Pi\u00f1el<\/strong>, Jacobo Palanca<\/strong> and Beatriz Dosd\u00e1 <\/strong>(Corporate), Javier Vinuesa<\/strong> and Iv\u00e1n Escribano<\/strong> (Tax), Enrique Isla <\/strong>and Carmen Garc\u00eda <\/strong>(Real Estate), and B\u00e1rbara Sainz de Vicu\u00f1a<\/strong> and M\u00f3nica Esteve<\/strong> (Intellectual Property).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
