G\u00f3mez-Acebo & Pombo has advised Triodos Bank and the Catalan Institute of Finance (ICF) on the financing of a \u20ac22 million loan granted to Estabanell, a leading company in the telecommunications sector in Catalonia, for the construction and commissioning of a portfolio of fifteen photovoltaic solar plants located across Catalonia, Madrid and Andalusia, with a total installed capacity of approximately 62.8 MWp.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The transaction, structured as a project finance deal, is part of the company\u2019s strategy to promote renewable energy and reinforces its distributed generation model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The G\u00f3mez-Acebo & Pombo team advised the lenders on all legal aspects of the financing and was led by Ver\u00f3nica Roman\u00ed, partner in the Banking and Finance practice and head of the Energy sector, together with Juan P\u00e9rez, Joaqu\u00edn Beltr\u00e1n and Carla Logro\u00f1o, associates in the Banking and Finance team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
