G\u00f3mez-Acebo & Pombo has advised on a \u20ac220m syndicated financing granted to Fira 2000 to fund part of the expansion and redevelopment project of Fira Barcelona.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The financing has been provided by a pool of lenders comprising BBVA, Banc Sabadell, CaixaBank, Banco Santander and the Institut Catal\u00e0 de Finances (ICF), and is backed by a guarantee from the Government of Catalonia. The facility will enable, on the one hand, the first phase of the refurbishment of the Montju\u00efc venue (up to \u20ac125m) and, on the other, the completion of the development of the new \u201cHall Zero\u201d pavilion at the Gran Via venue (up to \u20ac95m), both key elements within the overall investment plan aimed at strengthening Fira de Barcelona\u2019s international positioning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
