He was Head of our New York office from 2018 to 2022.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He specialises in mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, private equity and venture capital, particularly advising investors and high-growth companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He holds a degree in Law and a diploma in Business Law&nbsp;from the Comillas Pontifical University-ICADE (Spain) and completed his doctorate studies in Civil Law &#8211; <em>Diploma de Estudios Avanzados<\/em> &#8211; at the Complutense University of Madrid. In addition, he has completed postgraduate studies at IE University (Spain), the Center for American and International Law (Dallas) and Fordham University (New York).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, he did a secondment as a foreing associate at the Brazilian firm Pinheiro Neto Advogados in Sao Paulo and at the international private banking division of Santander Private Banking in Geneva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">David is recognised in the prestigious legal directories Chambers and Partners and Legal 500 as one of the market leaders in the areas of Private Equity and Venture Capital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He has participated as author and coauthor in several specialised legal
