Almudena Larrañaga
Almudena is a partner of Litigation and Arbitration at Gómez-Acebo & Pombo, the firm where she began her career.
She has a solid track record in litigation and arbitration, particularly in strategic sectors such as energy, markets and competition.
As Head of Litigation at Repsol Butano, she was responsible for legal assistance and the defence of the company in highly complex and high-value judicial proceedings.
Later, she was appointed Head of the Upstream Legal Service for Europe and North Africa at the Repsol Group, actively participating in the defence and legal advice of key businesses in this geographical area and in the United States.
For 15 years, she worked as a partner in a prestigious boutique law firm, leading the defence of clients in judicial and arbitration proceedings. She has provided legal assistance to international projects involving desalination, water treatment, engineering, civil works, LNG, LPG, hydrogen and renewable energy in countries such as Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco, Libya, Oman, Saudi Arabia, India, Portugal, the United States, Peru, Argentina, Chile and Canada.
