GA_P advises H2Site on financing round
The financing round was led by Suma Capital, through its fund SC Net Zero Ventures, and Hy24, a company owned by the French entity Ardian.
Gómez-Acebo & Pombo has advised H2Site, a Bilbao-based company specialising in hydrogen transport solutions, in a financing round in which it has raised €36m. The transaction has been backed by investors such as Suma Capital, through its fund SC Net Zero Ventures, and Hy24, a company owned by the French entity Ardian.
H2Site, which was founded in 2020 as a spin-off from Tecnalia and Eindhoven University of Technology in collaboration with Engie New Ventures, and will use the funds for international expansion, with a focus on the US, the development of infrastructure projects for hydrogen transport and maritime decarbonisation.
The team was made up of: Álvaro Mateo, Andrés Castro, Carla Sancho-Tello and Sonia Sánchez Vallejo, from the Mercantil team in Madrid and Valencia respectively.
