GA_P advises Helia Renovables II and Plenium on the sale of a renewables portfolio to La Caisse (CDPQ) for €1.1bn
Gómez-Acebo & Pombo has advised Helia Renovables II, F.C.R. and Plenium Partners on the sale of a portfolio of 53 operational photovoltaic assets, with a combined capacity of 260 MW, to Canadian investor La Caisse (CDPQ), through its subsidiary Velto Renewables, for approximately €1.1bn.
This transaction strengthens La Caisse’s (CDPQ) strategy of consolidating its presence in Spain’s renewable energy sector and marks another milestone in the commitment of both companies to the development of sustainable energy infrastructure, while also contributing to the energy transition and the country’s decarbonisation targets.
