GA_P advises on the Land Readjustment Project for one of the largest urban developments in the Community of Madrid.
Gómez-Acebo & Pombo has advised on the drafting and processing of the Land Readjustment Project for Sector SR-1 of Brunete, a municipality in the third ring around Madrid, which was definitively approved by the Brunete Town Council on 6 October 2025.
The planned development in Brunete provides for over 17,500 homes, 42% of which will be affordable housing, and will increase the municipality’s current population (c. 11,000) six-fold. The planning framework for Brunete establishes 11 sectors, eight of them residential, which encircle the municipality to the west.
The Firm advised on the drafting and processing of the Land Readjustment Project, as well as the Compulsory Purchase Project for Sector SR-1 “Primera Corona”, covering an area of over 750,000 m².
With this project, Brunete consolidates its position as a strategic hub to meet the growing demand for housing in the Community of Madrid.
The GA_P team involved in the matter comprised Ander de Blas, counsel, and Paula García Cuevas, associate, both from the Public & Regulated Sectors practice in Madrid.
