GA_P advises Silence on the launch of a BaaS electric battery subscription programme for scooters
Gómez-Acebo & Pombo has advised Silence on the launch of its innovative BaaS electric battery subscription programme for scooters. This service, a pioneer in Europe and Spain, will be available in the Barcelona centre and is expected to be launched in Silence’s national distribution network in the coming months.
Through the BaaS (‘Battery as a Service’) programme, users can purchase a Silence scooter without a battery and simultaneously subscribe to a battery subscription, which allows them to exchange their batteries for fully charged ones at designated ‘Battery Stations’ when their vehicle’s battery charge cycle runs out.
The automotive team led by Ainara Rentería and Elisa Gómez-Bernardo of IP advised on the operation.
