GA_P advises Solaer on the sale of a 100 MW solar PV portfolio to InfraRed Capital Partners.

Gómez-Acebo & Pombo has advised Solaer, an Israeli company specialised in renewable energy, on the sale of a 100-megawatt (MW) portfolio of solar photovoltaic projects in Spain to the fund InfraRed Capital Partners.

The transaction, valued at approximately €90 million, includes assets at various stages of development, among them Alizarsun, located in Zaragoza, which is already operational and has a signed PPA with Swiss utility Alpiq. This deal forms part of Solaer’s strategic plan to reinvest in new projects in Spain, its main market in Europe.

The GA_P team involved in the transaction was composed of Álvaro Mateo and Inés López, partner and associate from the Corporate team, along with Susana Onsurbe, senior associate from the Tax team; Juan Pérez, senior associate from the Banking and Finance team; and Paula García, associate from the Public Law and Regulated Sectors team.
