Managing partners of the main law firms operating in Spain are confident that 2026 will be a year of growth.

The greatest challenge will be providing the best service to clients in a complex environment, marked by geopolitical and economic fluctuations, regulatory pressure, and increasingly intense competition within the legal sector. Attracting and retaining top talent will remain a key pillar, alongside the adoption of technological tools to enhance efficiency and strengthen the competitiveness of law firms.

In this context, Íñigo Erláiz, managing partner of Gómez-Acebo & Pombo, emphasises: “Competition will intensify, not only among traditional firms but also with new players and models of legal service delivery. Our goal is to continue consolidating our position as a reference firm in the most complex and strategic matters.
