Ana Martínez-Pina is a partner of Banking and Finance and Head of Financial Regulatory and Insurance at Gómez-Acebo & Pombo.

She is a member of the Sustainability Committee of the Institute of Accounting and Auditors Oversight (ICAC) and of the Expert advice group of FINRESP.

She was Vice-Chair of the Spanish National Securities Market Commission (CNMV) from to 2016 until 2020. During her mandate as Vice-Chair of the CNMV, she chaired, among other committees, the Financial Reporting Standing Committee of the European Securities Markets Authority (ESMA) as well as its Coordination Network on Sustainability. In addition, Ana was Chair ICAC and Deputy General Director of Accounting Techniques and Standardisation of the same organisation.

She was a member of the Board of the Bank of Spain, of the Governing Committee of the FROB (Spanish resolution authority for banks and investment services companies) and of the Board of the AMCESFI (Spanish macroprudential authority).

Ana is co-director of the Gómez-Acebo & Pombo/ICADE Chair in Sustainability and Law, as well as author of several specialised legal publications.

She joins Gómez-Acebo & Pombo in 2021 and becomes a partner in 2023.
