Ana Orondo
Ana is a counsel of Public Law and Regulated Sectors at Gómez- Acebo & Pombo.
She holds a Law degree with an Extraordinary Award from the Complutense University of Madrid, a master’s degree in Stock and Financial Markets from the Stock Market Studies Institute (IEB) and an Executive MBA from the ESADE Law School. Prior to joining GA_P, she was Director of Environment and Circular Economy at PwC Tax & Legal Services, where she began her career in 2005. She is a professor of public procurement at Comillas Pontifical University – ICADE’s official master’s in Business Law.
She has provided legal advice to a wide variety of entities within the public and private sectors; she is an expert in environmental law, particularly with regard to waste, extended producer responsibility (EPR) and circular economy, as well as issues concerning competition, non-profit organisations and public procurement.
Ana has been recognised as a leading environmental expert in several editions of the prestigious legal directory Chambers & Partners.
She has participated as author or coauthor of various publications and articles in specialised legal journals.
