Iñigo Arrieta
Iñigo is a senior associate in the Banking and Finance practice at Gómez-Acebo & Pombo.
Iñigo is a senior associate in the Banking & Finance practice, where he advises financial institutions, companies and investment funds—both domestic and international—on the design, structuring and execution of complex financing transactions. He specialises in debt restructurings and refinancings, corporate finance, acquisition finance and project finance transactions, and has extensive experience in multidisciplinary and cross‑border transactions.
His professional background includes a secondment in 2025 in Santiago de Chile, where he worked with the banking and finance team at Guerrero Olivos, participating in significant transactions within the Latin American market. He also completed a secondment in 2021 at the legal department of Société Générale, Spanish Branch, further strengthening his expertise in legal advisory work from an in‑house perspective.
He holds a double degree in Law and Business Administration from the University of Navarra (Spain), and completed the University of Navarra – IESE Programme at IESE Business School.
Iñigo has participated as an author and co‑author of several specialised legal publications.
