Irene Carreño
Irene is a senior associate of Corporate and M&A and Private Equity at Gómez-Acebo & Pombo.
She specialises in advising on commercial and corporate law, family businesses, private equity, corporate governance, due diligence projects and M&A transactions of all kinds, among others, in regulated sectors and renewable energies.
She holds a degree in Law from Cardenal Herrera-CEU University. She has also completed a master’s degree in International Business Law at the CEU Business School and the Jean Monnet European Centre of Excellence in European Community Law.
Irene has taught different courses such as the master’s in Business Law at the Comillas Pontifical University (ICADE), High Specialization Course in Real Estate Law from Complutense University of Madrid (Spain) and has been a guest lecturer at the European University of Madrid to teach the Basic Notions of Corporate Law course.
In addition, she has been a speaker at various conferences and courses of the Spanish Association of Mergers and Acquisitions Professionals.
She has participated as author or coauthor in several specialised publications.
