Ralph Smith
Ralph is an International Counsel of Intellectual Property at Gómez-Acebo & Pombo.
He specialises in new technology law, intellectual property, media law, litigation and cross-border transactions in general.
He has a master’s degree in Natural Sciences and Chemical Engineering from Corpus Christi College, Cambridge, UK and is a graduate of York College of Law. He completed the course of Homologation for Community Lawyers at the CEU San Pablo University and is a member of the Madrid Bar Association and the Law Society of England and Wales. Formerly a research process engineer at Unilever Research Ltd., Bedford, UK.
He has participated as author or coauthor in several specialised legal publications.
He joins Gómez-Acebo & Pombo in 1998 and becomes an international counsel in 2016.
