Santiago is a partner of Banking and Finance at Gómez-Acebo & Pombo.

He has extensive experience in banking, structured finance, project finance, corporate acquisitions and derivatives transactions, capital markets, regulation of financial institutions and securities markets (including financial services providers) and insurance.He holds a Law degree from the Complutense University of Madrid. He holds an LLM in Finance and Banking Law from Fordham University in New York.

Santiago has been highlighted as a Notable Practitioner in recent years by IFLR 1000 for his work and extensive experience in the area of Banking and Capital Markets.
