Mandated or voluntary sharing of data

Completion of the form is voluntary and the consequence of not sharing your data is the impossibility of receiving the requested information or, as the case may be, of being contacted.

Purposes and legitimate basis of data processing

Personal data voluntarily shared with us through the different channels provided to this end, including our website, social media profiles, e-mail or contact telephone number, will be processed for the following purposes:

  • Receipt of emails, phone calls and social media.

Personal data collected from emails, phone calls and GA_P profiles on social media will be processed to identify you and respond to any requests or queries you may have, based on the legitimacy of the consent you have given us, either because you have contacted us through the means provided for this purpose or because you have expressly requested it.

  • Legislative news and publications form.

The personal data collected in this form will be processed for the purpose of sending information about services, events, seminars, conferences and other initiatives promoted by GA_P, as well as the newsletter and publications on current legal issues, based on the consent you give us by filling in ticking the box and sending the form, and on the basis of GA_P’s legitimate interest in cases where there is a relationship with GA_P and where the information we send you is related to the products and services we provide or you have contracted.

  • Event registration form.

The personal data collected in this form will be processed to manage your registration and attendance at the event, as well as to manage security access to the venues where the event is held, based on the consent you give us by completing, ticking the box and sending the form, and on the basis of GA_P’s legitimate interest in managing the security of people and property.

  • Alumni Registration Form.

The personal data collected in this form will be processed, after verifying your status as an alumnus, to send you invitations and communications by electronic means regarding events and activities organised by GA_P for colleagues, based on the consent you give us by completing, ticking the box and sending the form.

Recipients

The data collected for attendance at any event held by GA_P in collaboration with another company will be communicated to that company based on the consent given when registering for the event for the purpose of monitoring attendance at the event. Your data will also be communicated for security reasons to the company that controls access to the facilities where GA_P events are held, based on the legitimate interest of the safety of people and services. Third-party companies external to GA_P (data processors) may be recipients of the data and will process your data for the purpose of providing auxiliary services to GA_P that involve support functions necessary for the activity and main processing indicated in the section ‘Purposes and legitimacy of processing’. The data will be processed by these processors under a service provision contract and another processing contract in accordance with data protection regulations.

International transfers of data

Your personal data processed for the purposes indicated in the section ‘Purposes and legitimacy of processing’ will not be transferred internationally.

Data retention period

The personal data you provide will be kept for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or until you revoke, without retroactive effect, the consent given for data processing, provided that you do not request the deletion of your data beforehand. It will then be kept blocked for the limitation period of the liabilities arising from the processing of personal data.

Rights

You have the following rights:

  • Rights of access, rectification, erasure, limitation and objection, right not to be subject to an automated decision, including profiling and portability – when the latter is legally applicable – which you can exercise by sending, to GA_P’s Departamento de Innovación y Desarrollo de Cliente at the address Paseo de la Castellana, 216, 28046 Madrid (Spain), or to the e-mail address dpo@ga-p.com, a request indicating the right you are exercising and providing, if the data controller cannot ascertain your identity, a document (or copy of a document) that confirms your identity.
  • Right to revoke your consent without retroactive effect or to object to receiving commercial communication, sending an e-mail to the following address: dpo@ga-p.com (writing ‘UNSUBSCRIBE’ in the subject line). Based on the legitimate interest of not sending you this type of communication again, your minimum essential data is required to take the necessary measures to prevent the sending of such commercial communications.
  • Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Spain, Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, Calle de Jorge Juan, 6, 28001 Madrid; www.agpd.es; tel: 901 100 099 and 912 663 517), in particular in relation to the exercise of your rights.
