Cristina Mendezona
Cristina is a senior associate in the Public Law and Regulated Sectors department at Gómez‑Acebo & Pombo.
She specialises in administrative law in general and, in particular, in public procurement, administrative litigation, infrastructure, energy, and environmental matters. She has extensive experience providing legal advice to both public and private companies, as well as to public authorities and the wider public sector.
She has also been directly and actively involved in drafting regulatory instruments (including draft bills, regional regulations, decrees, etc.) and has taken part in judicial proceedings before the administrative courts, civil courts, and in matters relating to administrative liability. She has served as a legal member of a procurement committee.
She holds a Law degree from the University of Deusto and also holds the Professional Competence Certificate issued by the Spanish General Council of the Legal Profession and the Basque Council of the Legal Profession. In addition, she holds a Diploma in Urban Planning from the Basque Institute of Public Administration (IVAP).
Cristina has contributed as an author or co‑author to various specialised publications.
She joins Gómez-Acebo & Pombo in 2006.
