The Planning Area is composed of urbanist lawyers located in Bilbao, Valencia, Barcelona, Lisbon, and Madrid who practice law in all municipalities of the Iberian Peninsula.
Our urbanist lawyers have extensive experience in legal and territorial urban planning advice. The team includes not only lawyers and professors but also an urban planning architect expert; this allows us to provide not only purely legal advice but also a very technical vision and approach to our urban planning advice, as demanded by this specialization.
We advise Public Administrations and private companies in the preparation of planning and urban execution instruments, in monitoring their processing until their final approval, and in the investigation and documentary analysis, issuance of reports, opinions, and expert opinions as needed. All of this is done in accordance with the different land and sectoral legislations (environmental, transportation, water, cultural heritage, etc.) that are applicable.
The diversity of the work covers all stages of the urban planning process: from its beginning, that is, from the idea of undertaking an urban transformation (the analysis of its opportunity and viability or the drafting of a viability diagnosis) and preliminary actions with the Administration, to the drafting of urban planning, management, and execution instruments, and expropriations.
