She specialises in real estate and planning law, with over twenty years of experience advising national and international clients on corporate acquisitions and disposals, asset portfolio transactions, leases, construction, development and management contracts. Her career also includes solid experience in the private banking sector and public administration, where she has provided legal advice on planning matters, public procurement and judicial proceedings.

Carolina holds a Law degree from Carlos III University (Spain). She has complemented her academic background with specialised training in planning law, public liability of the administration, real estate management and taxation, delivered by the Madrid Bar Association, the Financial Studies Center (CEF), ADAMS Training Centre, and the Spanish Association of Women Entrepreneurs.

In the private sector, she has advised on the purchase and sale of real estate assets (land, offices, residential, hotels, logistics facilities, student accommodation), leases, turnkey agreements, management and construction contracts, as well as on planning regulations, licensing and due diligence processes.

In the public sector, she has acted as legal counsel in matters relating to the disposal of public assets, public procurement and litigation involving real estate, including possession recovery, illegal occupation, evictions, nullity actions and other related disputes.

Patricia is a senior associate in the Corporate and M&A practice at Gómez-Acebo & Pombo.

She is specialised in advising on real estate and construction law. She has advised on numerous purchase processes (asset deals and share deals), involving all types of real estate assets (land under development, residential properties, offices, hotels, student residences, etc.), due diligence, and the drafting and negotiation of all types of contractual documents in this field.

She has solid experience in real estate law applied to the renewable energy sector, as well as in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions within this field. She has been involved in the drafting and negotiation of a wide variety of related contracts and has participated in financing transactions linked to real estate assets and energy projects.

Patricia holds a degree in Law from the Autonomous University of Madrid (Spain).

She regularly lectures on the advanced specialisation course in Real Estate Law at the School of Legal Practice of the Complutense University of Madrid (Spain) and is a guest lecturer at the IE University (Spain).

She has participated in the drafting of a guide on subleasing with the Fernando Pombo Foundation and Cáritas.

Carla is a senior associate in the Tax practice at Gómez-Acebo & Pombo.

She specialises in tax advice on direct and indirect taxes, both nationally and internationally. She is regularly involved in advising on asset deals in the energy sector. She also specialises in advising on tax proceedings, both at the administrative and judicial stages.

She holds a degree in Law and a diploma in Business Law from Comillas Pontifical University. She has a double master’s degree in Access to the Legal Profession from Comillas Pontifical University and a master’s degree in Tax Consultancy from ESADE Law School.

Carla has participated as author or coauthor in several specialised legal publications.

Susana is a senior associate in the Tax practice at Gómez-Acebo & Pombo.

She specialises in general tax and accounting advice for large companies and business groups, in tax consolidation, tax planning and execution of reorganization operations of business groups, in the execution of reorganization operations of family business groups, in tax advice on company acquisition operations, tax review and analysis of the acquired companies (due diligence), in the management and intervention in the process of tax verification and inspection of companies and business groups and in the taxation of inheritance and donations.

She holds a Law degree and diploma in Labour Relations from the University of Valencia. Master’s degree in Financial and Tax Law Taxation and Professional Specialisation course in International and EU Taxation.

Susana is a regular speaker at conferences organized by the Chambers of Commerce on topics such as the export of services, the expatriation of workers and the family business, as well as professor at Catholic University of Valencia (master of Taxation).

She has participated as an author or coauthor in several specialised legal publications.
