GA_P advises SoftBank-backed Lenskart on the acquisition of Meller

Gómez-Acebo & Pombo has advised Lenskart, an Indian eyewear company backed by SoftBank, on the acquisition of a majority stake in Stellio Ventures, the company operating under the Spanish eyewear brand Meller.

The deal marks a milestone in Spain’s fashion and accessories sector and strengthens Lenskart’s international expansion plan. The company already operates more than 2,500 physical stores worldwide, and with this transaction, it enters the European market. Meller, in turn, will benefit from Lenskart’s global scale and access to cutting-edge technologies.
