GA_P has advised DIF Capital Partners on the acquisition of a wind project located in Uruguay

Gómez-Acebo & Pombo has advised DIF Capital Partners on the acquisition of a wind project with 117MW of capacity located in Uruguay from ENERCON. The project contains 50 Enercon E-92 of 2,35MW turbines and has been operating since October 2015 with a PPA contract of 100MW for 20 years with UTE, a public company from Uruguay.
This is the second project acquired by DIF in Uruguay from ENERCON. In 2019, it acquired a 50MW wind project (Cerro Grande) from ENERCON. GA_P also advised DIF on this transaction.
The GA_P team of advisors in this transaction was formed by: Verónica Romaní, José Francisco Canalejas, Diego Martínez Colino, Anella Corres and Iñigo Valdenebro.
