Gómez-Acebo & Pombo advised the founders and management team of Etnaga, which operates through the BOL online box office, on the sale of 90% of its share capital to SIC and the CREST II fund.
Etnaga, founded by Ricardo Nuno, Rita Nuno and their parents, operates predominantly in the area of specialised ticket sales and reservations through its own platform, the well-known BOL online box office. Etnaga’s founders will continue to hold a shareholding and remain in the company’s executive management.
SIC – Sociedade Independente de Comunicação was the first private television channel to operate in Portugal, founded in 1987. CREST II – FCR is a leading venture capital investment fund in the private equity market in Portugal.
