Gómez-Acebo & Pombo incorporates Constantino Pérez Salgado, Luis López, and Ana Martínez-Pina, as new partners of the Firm
The new partners will strengthen their practice areas, consolidating their growth. Ana Martínez-Pina, until now counsel responsible for financial regulation, leads the Financial Regulatory and Insurance area and the Sustainability practice, focusing above all on the field of sustainable finance. She was Vice President of the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV) from 2016 to 2020. As Vice President of the CNMV, she chaired the Financial Information Committee of the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA), as well as its Sustainability Committee, among others. She was also President of the Institute of Accounting and Auditing (ICAC) from 2012 to 2016.
Constantino Pérez Salgado, until now commercial counsel, co-leads the Latin American group. His appointment highlights the relevance for the Firm of developing relationships and business in the region. He is a specialist in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, financings and venture capital operations. He works regularly with companies, financial institutions and investment funds on transactions in Spain, Latin America and the United States.
Finally, Luis López, previously senior associate of Litigation and Arbitration, has extensive experience in commercial and investment arbitrations, national and overseas. Likewise, he is specialized in advising on civil and commercial judicial procedures related, among others, to infrastructure and construction, energy, corporate conflicts, agency and distribution contracts.
