Gómez-Acebo & Pombo has achieved one of the biggest jumps in the Financial Times Innovate Lawyers Europe 2026 ranking

Gómez-Acebo & Pombo has once again been recognized by the prestigious FT Innovative Lawyers Europe 2026 report, compiled by the Financial Times and RSGI, making one of the biggest leaps in this edition after rising from 43rd to 21st place in the European ranking of the most innovative law firms.

With an overall score of 80.8 points, the firm improved by 4.5 points compared to the previous year and ranks among the leading firms in the Spanish and European markets in legal innovation.

This advancement places Gómez-Acebo & Pombo ahead of leading firms in the Spanish market and brings it closer to the top tier of the most innovative European law firms. There is a difference of just 1.6 points between ranks 16 and 21 in the ranking, reflecting the high level of competition among the sector’s leading firms.

Recognition for Innovation Applied to Business and Clients

The report particularly highlights Gómez-Acebo & Pompo’s ability to develop innovative solutions that have a real impact on its clients’ businesses. The firm scored 52.6 out of 60 in the Innovation category, becoming the fourth-highest-rated Spanish firm in this area and ranking ahead of other leading law firms in the market.
