Nuno de Oliveira Garcia
Nuno is a partner and Head of Tax at Lisbon office of Gómez-Acebo & Pombo.
He is an expert in tax Law, international tax law and tax litigation.
Back in 2017, Nuno won the Forty under 40 award, granted by the prestigious Iberian Lawyer. During his career, he has been highlighted as Highly Regarded by the publication World Tax and is also recognised by the prestigious legal directory Chambers and Partners as one of the leading professionals in the Tax practice area. Finally, he has been awarded by International Tax Review IRC and by Tax Advisory Survey as Tax Controversy Leader Portugal.
Nuno is a Tax Law Professor at University of Lisbon, teaching Tax Law and International Tax Law, and is listed as arbitrator for tax matters since the debut of the prominent Centro de Arbitragem Administrativa (CAAD). He has participated as author and coauthor in more than twenty specialised legal publications, and his master’s thesis is currently printed in its 3rd edition under the prominent Almedina label.
