Practical aspects and challenges of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). Impact on litigation costs

Gómez-Acebo & Pombo is pleased to invite you to a breakfast session, in which we will discuss the most relevant practical aspects and main challenges of the Appropriate Means of Dispute Resolution (ADR), introduced by Organic Law 1/2025, of 2 January, and its impact on procedural costs, on the occasion of its imminent entry into force on 3 April 2025.

In this session, we will address relevant issues such as when the requirement to have gone to an ADR in order to be able to file a claim is fulfilled, which documents from the negotiation process in an ADR are confidential and should not be submitted together with the claim, what impact ADR has on legal costs, how ADR affects the terms of a contract, what the cost and duration of ADR will be, the most appropriate types of ADR depending on the type of dispute, etc.

    Tax Lease Breakfast

Gómez-Acebo & Pombo, together with the ClarkeModet Group, invite you to an exclusive breakfast where we will explore the concept of Tax Lease.

Tax Lease is a non-dilutive private financing instrument through which an investor provides non-repayable financing for an R&D project, and obtains, in return, the tax credits generated in the project to reduce the corporate income tax liability (42% tax deduction for R&D&I and a negative taxable base). In turn, the research company receives from 25% financing of the amount of the certified project.

    Labour Breakfasts 2025

We are pleased to invite you to a new edition of our labour breakfasts in Bilbao.

On this occasion, we will analyse recent developments in case law and examine the position that the Courts are adopting on relevant issues such as the necessary prior hearing in the case of disciplinary dismissal, additional compensation in the case of unfair dismissal, paid leave or Equality Plans, among other aspects.

In addition, we will address the labour trends and legislative developments expected in the near future, with special emphasis on the reduction of working hours and the new working day register, the relevant procedural implications contained in Organic Law 1/2025, as well as foreseeable legislative developments that may be approved during the course of the year.

An essential update on the most important labour issues, especially for people with responsibilities in the planning and management of Human Resources.
