GA_P advises Avianca on the acquisition of Spanish airline Wamos Air

Gómez-Acebo & Pombo is advising Avianca, the Colombian airline owned by Grupo Abra, one of the largest air transport groups in Latin America, on an agreement to acquire a stake in the Spanish company Wamos Air, a leading wet lease company in its sector. With this operation, Grupo Abra expects to improve Latin America’s connectivity with Europe.
The GA_P team was formed by David González, Jorge Martín, Luis Pinedo and Laura Roda, partner, of counsel and associates of Corporate.
