GA_P advises Cándido Miró on the sale of a majority stake to Miura Partners

Gómez-Acebo & Pombo has advised the group Cándido Miró, commercially known as Aceitunas Serpis, a pioneering group in Spain in the manufacture and marketing of anchovy-stuffed olives, on the sale of a majority stake to Miura Partners, a Spanish private equity fund.
The acquisition of this majority stake in Serpis by Miura aims to accelerate the company’s growth and internationalisation, as well as to boost its innovation. It also represents a new private equity operation in the food sector in Spain.
Francisco Fita, partner of Corporate and head of the Valencia office, and Carla Sancho-Tello and Belén Pina, associates of Corporate, have advised on the transaction.
