GA_P advises lenders on the $5.3bn refinancing of Grifols Group
Gómez-Acebo & Pombo has advised the financing entities on the Spanish law aspects of the refinancing of Grifols Group, a global leader in the production of plasma-derived medicines, for a total amount of approximately $5.3 billion.
The transaction was structured as a cross-border financing package comprising two term loans and a multicurrency revolving credit facility. The transaction enables Grifols to strengthen its liquidity position, improve its financial flexibility and extend its debt maturity profile, covering all obligations maturing before October 2028.
