GA_P advises Making Science on the sale of its cloud and cybersecurity business unit to Lutech
Gómez-Acebo & Pombo has advised the Making Science group, whose parent company is listed on BME Growth and currently has more than 1,200 employees and a technological presence and development in 15 markets, on the sale of two Spanish companies that make up its cloud and cybersecurity business unit in Spain to Lutech, a leading Italian group in digital services and artificial intelligence.
In addition, Making Science and Lutech have formed a strategic alliance whereby Making Science will remain a key customer of this business unit, ensuring that its customers maintain seamless access to the differentiated skills and technology of its former cybersecurity and cloud unit.
The transaction is subject to approval of foreign direct investment in Spain and the fulfilment of other customary conditions for this type of transaction. The closing is expected in the fourth quarter of 2025.
With this divestment, Making Science will be able to focus its resources and management capabilities on its core business units: AdTech digital marketing services and its technology and artificial intelligence division. Lutech will consolidate its expansion in the Spanish market and expand its offering of advanced technology services.
