GA_P advises SPAC Gesher I Acquisition on its merger with Freightos

Gómez-Acebo & Pombo has advised NASDAQ-listed SPAC Gesher I Acquisition Corp (GIAC) on its merger agreement with Freightos Ltd, which includes Spain’s WebCargo. The value of the transaction is about $435m.
Freightos is a global digital freight booking services platform. As part of the transaction, Freightos has secured $80m in capital commitments. The capital raised from the transaction will be invested to further expand the business, drive transaction value and improve margins.
Advising on the transaction were: David González, Samara Schaar and Rodrigo Fernández, Corporate partner and associates; Bárbara Sáinz, Isabel Bandín, Claudia Pérez and Irantze Irrigain, Intellectual Property associates; Lourdes Escassi, Clara Juanola and Natalia Mestres, Labour associates; Mariana Díaz-Moro and Carla Fandiño, Tax partner and associate; and Juan Vera, Real Estate associate.
