Gómez-Acebo & Pombo ranks among the best pro bono initiatives at the 11th Expansión Jurídico Awards | Expansión

According to an analysis published by Expansión, Gómez-Acebo & Pombo and the Fernando Pombo Foundation are among the finalists in the Best Pro Bono Initiative category, thanks to the project they have developed to support the roll-out of the ALL Together protocol in Spain.

The report published by Expansión lists the finalists in the Best Pro Bono Initiative category of the 11th edition of the Expansión Jurídico Awards. Among them is the project developed by Gómez-Acebo & Pombo and the Fernando Pombo Foundation to support the implementation in Spain of the ALL Together protocol for the treatment of paediatric acute lymphoblastic leukaemia.

The Unoentrecienmil Foundation had demonstrated the clinical viability of this protocol in Spain through a pilot project. To facilitate its implementation, the Public Law department at Gómez-Acebo & Pombo and the Fernando Pombo Foundation worked on the legal and regulatory analysis of the initiative, the design of its administrative process and support for the public advocacy strategy.
