Jorge Martín joins Gómez-Acebo & Pombo as Of Counsel in the Corporate Department

Jorge Martín, until now Counsel at Clifford Chance, has more than 13 years of experience and specialises in advising on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), both to financial investors (private equity) and to listed and unlisted companies. He is an associate professor of Commercial Law at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and is recognised as Associate to watch in Corporate / M&A by Chambers & Partners and Rising Star in Corporate / M&A and Private Equity by Legal 500.
Jorge holds a degree in Law and Business Administration from the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE) and in 2021 he qualified as a Solicitor of England and Wales. He began his professional career at Uría Menéndez, before joining Clifford Chance where he has spent the last eight years.
