Eduardo is a partner in the Litigation and Arbitration practice at Gómez-Acebo & Pombo. 

He has over 24 years’ experience as a solicitor and arbitrator, with a highly specialised practice in civil and commercial litigation and in domestic and international arbitration. In the judicial sphere, he advises clients on complex disputes relating to, among other sectors, engineering, energy, banking, real estate, distribution, technology, automotive, security, hospitality and finance, including declaratory proceedings, injunctions, enforcement, insolvency and claims arising from corporate and financial transactions.

In addition, Eduardo has extensive experience in domestic and international commercial arbitration, both institutional and ad hoc, as a solicitor and as an arbitrator. He has participated in proceedings administered by the Arbitration Court of the Madrid Chamber of Commerce (CAM), the Madrid International Arbitration Centre (CIAM-CIAR), the Civil and Commercial Arbitration Court (CIMA), the Spanish Arbitration Court (CEA), the Barcelona Arbitration Court (TAB), the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), and the Court of Arbitration of the Warsaw Chamber of Commerce, as well as in ad hoc arbitrations conducted under different legal frameworks and in various languages. 

Throughout his career, he has advised national and international companies on disputes arising from construction, energy, infrastructure, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, distribution and agency agreements, licence agreements, services and leases, as well as on particularly complex corporate and financial disputes, including the interpretation of share purchase agreement clauses and disputes between joint venture partners. 

Eduardo has participated as an author and co-author in various legal reference works on arbitration, procedural law and private international law, and regularly collaborates as a lecturer and speaker at prestigious academic and professional institutions, including the Madrid Bar Association (ICAM), FIDE, ESADE, UIC, ISDE and CEU.

Javier is a partner in the Tax practice at Gómez-Acebo & Pombo.

He specialises in the tax structuring of M&A transactions, joint ventures, corporate reorganizations, financings, and debt restructurings. He also has extensive experience in providing tax advice on foreign investments in Spain and Spanish investments abroad.

Additionally, Javier advises both Spanish and international multinational companies and investment funds, particularly in the real estate, private equity, infrastructure, and energy sectors, offering efficient and innovative tax solutions with a client-focused and commercial approach.

He served as a partner for more than 14 years at leading international firms.

He is a professor in the Master’s in Taxation program at Carlos III University and in the Master’s in Tax Advisory program at the University of Navarra

Jesús is a partner in the Corporate and M&A practice at Gómez-Acebo & Pombo.

He specialises in corporate law, civil and commercial contracts, mergers & acquisitions of companies, due diligence and negotiation processes, advice on private equity (investment agreements and shareholders ́ agreements), advice on financing and refinancing and restructuring of company groups, advice on real estate transactions (real estate due diligences, real estate acquisitions, forward funding and development management agreements) and advice to starts-ups, negotiating transfer and patent licence contracts.

He graduated in Law from the University of Valencia. He made the Anglo-American Law Program at the Garrigues Centre of Studies and the Course 15×15 at Edem Escuela de Empresarios.

He is a lecturer in masters at the Catholic University of Valencia, EDEM, ICAV and different business schools and organizations. Additionally, he is a regular speaker at many conferences and seminars regarding civil, commercial and corporate law topics.

Jesús is the author and coauthor of several articles in some specialised legal publications.
