Verónica Romaní
Verónica is a partner of Banking and Finance and Head of Energy at Gómez-Acebo & Pombo.
She has extensive experience in transactions related to energy and infrastructure, with a global profile that includes advising leading national and international clients on both acquisition and financing transactions of assets in regulated sectors. She has been involved in a significant number of the acquisition and financing processes that have taken place in these sectors. Her experience also includes acquisition financings, corporate finance and syndicated loans, refinancing and corporate restructuring transactions.
She holds a law degree from the Complutense University of Madrid. She holds a master’s degree in Stock Exchange and Financial Markets from the Stock Market Studies Institute (IEB) and an advanced course in Energy Law from the IE University.
Verónica is recognised as a Leading Individual in Legal 500 in the Projects and Energy category; in Chambers & Partners as Band 1 in the Project Finance category and as Band 2 in Energy & Natural Resources and Banking and Finance.
